Common questions

How do I sign in?

Use Continue with Apple on the first screen. Howsy does not require a separate username or password for normal use.

How do I delete my account?

Open Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm. If you can no longer access the app, follow the steps on the delete account page or email us.

How do I report or block someone?

Open the … menu on an Ask, a suggestion, a profile, or a message. Choose Report or Block. Blocking stops private contact in both directions.

Is Howsy for adults?

Yes. Howsy is for adults 18 and over. The app asks you to confirm your age after sign-in; accounts that do not pass the gate cannot access the community.

Does Howsy have ads or in-app purchases?

The current version does not include advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

How do I report a bug?

Email us with what happened, the steps to reproduce it, your device model, and the app version. A screenshot helps. Please do not include passwords or private message content.

How do I request my data?

Email us from the address associated with your account. See the Privacy Policy for the rights available in your region.
